Judith Baumann was born on the first day of spring in a small suburban development outside of Buffalo, NY. Naturally anxious, she avoids crowds and is prone to stomach ailments. Judith loves to travel and never feels at home until she is about to leave it. She has called Alfred NY, Richmond VA, Portland OR and Olympia WA 'home' at some point.

Her favorite artists include Virgil Marti, Marcel Dzama, Amy Culter, Alec Soth, Chip Kidd and Daniel Clowes. She, of course, adores John Baldesarri and Dave Hickey.

One day, she hopes to meet Morrissey.

Judith currently runs a large printshop and teaches non-toxic printmaking for a small liberal arts college in the middle of a very large forest. Sometimes, she can't see the forest for the trees
